He had calculated how much land, clothes, food and water, his mother earth could afford, and he only took that much. He advocated self dependent local units instead of developing big centers at the cost of the smaller center. Today environmentalists talk about "think local, act global" , recycling etc...

I wish someone had listened to him then, and we did not end up where we are today!!!
