This Hindi poem is excerpts of lives of three women, one in her 20s , the other one in her 40s and a timeless woman before they knew thet were girls and what it meant to be a girl.

Translation:

Before I begin to understand I was weak and delicate
I had taken the flight
Beyond the steps of the ladder
To the window sill
My small dainty feet
Were able to conquer the Large steps
Fearless
Surprised
I was above the world
The world beneath me
Because I did not know I was weak and dainty

I did not know I was weak and dainty
Hence I took away the bottle from a boy double my height
He Cried
I Drank the Milk
That bottle looked like a new unique toy to me
Hence I just took it away from him
The way Hanuman dared to gobble the sun
Because Indeed I did not know I was weak and dainty

I did not know I was weak and dainty
So that which took the strength of four soldiers
I lifted just by myself
Just like that
It was born from the womb of mother earth
And gifted by Lord Shiva
The Dazzling Shivadhanush
But lo my dad's eyes did not sparkle with pride
He got worried he would have to find a groom stronger than me
Now that he knew I was not weak and dainty

Hey mother I was born from you
And you came from my womb
This "Kali" (refers Goddess Kali) river of blood flows from you to me

So why you and me wait for our prince
To save us from Ashok Vatika (the place where Ravan had imprisoned Sita)

Why should you and I not kill
Any Mahisasur (demon)
Who stops from letting us
Capture the winds in our hair

Why should you and I not kill
Any Mahisasur (demon)
Who stops from letting us
Capture the winds in our hair

Why should you and I not kill
Any Mahisasur (demon)
Who stops from letting us
Capture the winds in our hair
