As the global pandemic continues to slow us down, most of us find ourselves spending more time at home with our families. We also learnt to appreciate smaller joys and as I spent my days holding tight to small joys of comfort and good health while the world outside was in a state of flux, I found myself expressing about the volatile world around us in the form of painting.

I created an acrylic on canvas artwork titled Annapurna -- a Hindi word which translates into The Provider.

The depressing news of illness, suffering, deaths and protests across the globe rattled me and my expressions of the world and happenings around us took the shape of stokes of paint poured with passion and a lot of hope that we will come out of it.
